Belt conveyors are the most commonly used powered conveyor due to their economical cost and simplicity. They are very versatile in what products they can transport. Typically, belt conveyors are used to carry loads over long distances with a single AC drive motor. They can also be used to convey products to different elevations (incline or decline) Roller conveyor encompasses many designs for a wide variety of applications. Roller conveyor can be used to simply transport product from point A to B. This is commonly referred to as live roller conveyor. Roller conveyor can also be used to accumulate product with minimum or zero pressure. It can also be used to convey large heavy loads such as pallets with chain driven roller.
